We have teachers skilled and ready to teach students wanting to complete AMEB or other examinations, or students just looking to learn for fun. We can cater to all students and skill levels!


Aaron is a piano tutor, composer and music teacher currently studying a Bachelor of Music (Composition). He teaches piano and guitar privately, and has tutored in many South Australian schools such as North Haven Primary and Kilkenny Primary. He has accompanied high school choirs and has had his music performed by artists such as Konstantin Shamray. He is also certified to instruct students in CVP Clavinova digital piano technology.


Alla has been a professional pianist for over 35 years and was trained in Russia before moving to Australia. Alla enjoys teaching to all age levels from beginner to advanced and believes that music is a magical language which everyone can hear but not everyone can understand. Alla’s passion is to help students better understand the magic of music, how practice makes perfection, and help them reach new heights.


Ben is currently studying for a double degree, majoring in Classical Piano Performance and History at the University of Adelaide. Passionate about music from Bach to Brubeck and beyond, Ben also enjoys improvising and composing his own works. In 2017 he won the Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conference Hal Leonard prize for composition. When teaching piano he encourages his students to develop their own creativity, whilst striving to equip them with a strong musical understanding.


Bianka is a graduate from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, holding a Bachelor of Music - Classical Performance. She has been successful in competitions and has performed solo, chamber, and orchestral works in many venues around Adelaide such as Elder Hall, Adelaide Festival Centre, and Pilgrim Church. Bianka is a passionate piano and violin teacher who desires to drive all her students to excellence in their musical journeys.


Tracy has been teaching for over thirty years, and holds an Associate and Licentiate Diploma in music. During this time she has played in many pop/rock bands and is still playing regular shows with two bands. Able to teach all styles of music, Tracy likes to encourage students to be creative & improvisational in their approach and most importantly – have a lot of fun in their journey to become confident, competent musicians.


Llainey has been playing piano since age 8 and has taught for over 15 years. She holds an Associate Diploma of Music (Pianoforte) and teaches both children and adults in a range of styles. Llainey focuses on encouraging an enjoyment of music in a relaxed and supportive environment while establishing a solid understanding of the fundamentals of piano playing and music theory.


Otto was born in Surabaya, Indonesia, and started to learn music at the age of 13, beginning on the Electone with Mrs. Farida Pringadie. Otto actively participated in masterclasses by Reena Berger, Steven Spooner, Mr Bart Van de Roer, Klara Wurtz, Prof Nigel, Maria Immaculata Setiadi, and Ines Maer. Moreover, he was also actively participating in competitions, examinations, and workshops in Surabaya, as well as playing organ for the local church. In 2013, Otto got a bachelor of Piano Performance from Pelita Harapan Univesity in Jakarta, Indonesia under the guidance of Mr Mamoru Yabuki, M. mus. At the end of his bachelor studies, he got a chance to perform the first movement of the Chopin Piano Concerto no. 1 Op.11 in E minor with the Pelita Harapan University Orchestra. On June 2019, He finished his master studies majoring in classical piano performances under guidance of Lucinda Collins at The University of Adelaide. During his studies at Adelaide, he was also actively playing piano on Sunday masses at the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.


Kate has a Bachelor of Music Education from the Elder Conservatorium and is completing an MA from UCL in London. She is incredibly passionate about all aspects of music education, and believes that everyone is musical. She has performed as a pit musician in Adelaide for many years and with the London Consorts of Winds. With 15 years of music education experience, Kate will ensure that your lessons are enjoyable, engaging and helping you along your musical journey, no matter where your start is!


Zhao was trained in Singapore before moving to Australia. A music educator for 15 years, Zhao is dedicated to music education especially for the younger ages. She is also an active musician and composer - with the touch of an artist and a heart for the community. She has been involved in several artistic projects in recent years, in collaboration with Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Art Gallery SA, Nexus Arts and local councils.

Aaron has been playing the guitar for 15 years having always had a passion for teaching music. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Music Education & Pedagogy at the University of Adelaide, Elder Conservatorium. He plays in a few busy Adelaide bands including Gravity, Open Slather and Just Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band that tours interstate as well. Specialising in modern/electric guitar and teaching in various styles such as rock, blues, pop, and heavy metal, Aaron can also assist students preparing for SACE Stage 2 Music Performance.


Marty has been playing guitar for 18 years, and teaching for over 10 years. Marty studied at Tafe and has a Certificate 4 in music, has played in bands locally for the last 15 years, recorded 2 albums including a solo album. Marty’s solo work has gained worldwide recognition, and he is a featured artist on the Stone Tone Products website along with Jeff Loomis (Nevermore/Arch Enemy), and Chris Poland of Megadeth.


Jacob has been playing the guitar for 15 years and performs regularly on the Adelaide scene with an acoustic duo, various cover bands, jazz quartets and jazz big bands. Jacob is influenced by various styles of music from jazz to classic metal and guitarists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Paul Gilbert, Richie Kotzen and Guthrie Govan. In 2015 Jacob completed a Diploma of Music in Jazz Guitar and is currently studying a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance.




Scott is a passionate and dedicated musician who has an appreciation for all genres of music. He has a Bachelor of Music in jazz after studying at the Elder Conservatorium of music under some of Australia’s finest jazz musicians. Scott performs regularly around the Adelaide gig circuit playing a variety of genres ranging from rock, pop, metal, blues and jazz. He’s a friendly, easy-going person that can inspire and influence younger and older aspiring bass players to achieve their musical goals.



Music Corner is a great place to learn drums, whether you are a beginner or an advanced player. Our drum teacher can help you either start drumming as a beginner or take your drumming skills to the next level, as they are versatile and able to teach all styles of drumming.


Daniel is a drum teacher and professional drummer playing for over 18 years. His career to date has covered all facets of being a professional musician; writing and recording, live performances and touring, live radio and teaching. He has played on main stages in Adelaide at the Big Day Out, Thebarton Theatre, Come Together Festival and several tours of the East Coast of Australia with his original bands. Daniel also has a diploma in music. His musical tastes are varied and diverse and his teaching knowledge covers many genres of music. Daniel is passionate about drumming and wants to help his students in any way possible to develop their playing and ultimately develop their own sound and style on the drum kit.

We employ highly skilled vocal teachers ideally suited for students of all ages and skill levels, allowing them to take their singing to the next level. Students will be guided through learning their favourite styles of music, keeping them passionate and motivated about learning vocals. Our teachers are the ideal choice whether you or your child is brand new to music, or a more advanced musician!


Sadie Humphrey has been singing since age six. She has completed her Diploma of Music through TAFE SA and is now currently studying a Bachelor of Music Education and Pedagogy. Sadie grew up in South East London, moving to Adelaide in 2008. She is a vocal coach for all genres – Jazz, Pop, Blues, R&B, Rock, Country, Soul, Latin, Motown and Musical Theatre– working with individuals and group vocalists, focusing on technique, performance and musicianship.





Music Corner North offers lessons on a large number of specialty instruments including: saxophone, trumpet, violin, cello, flute, ukulele, mandolin and banjo. We offer lessons on all these instruments with specialist teachers who are well suited to teach students of all ages and skill levels. Lessons are perfect for students looking to supplement their learning while playing in a school band, or for beginners of all ages wanting to learn the instrument they have always dreamed of for the first time. Many students have their first musical experiences on one of these instruments so proper tuition is the key to a greater level of musical potential for the future. All our teachers are highly experienced on their instruments, and are ready to teach all styles of music, so students are able to learn the music they are most passionate about and keep them motivated to learn.


Amy Suebwicha started on the piano at age 5, later went on to begin learning the violin at age 9. Finding she loved the violin she completed AMEB exams to Grade 8 level end of 2015, following that she completed her Certificate of Performance with Honours July 2016 the same month she got accepted into the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Currently she studying her third year for a Bachelor of music majoring in Classical Performance under the tutelage of Elizabeth Layton. In 2018 Amy had the opportunity to travel to London on a study tour where she visited four music academies; Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music, Guild Hall and Trinity Conservatoire. Through her time studying she has found a deep love for playing in orchestras and hopes to play in chamber and symphony orchestras in the future.


Jake Beard began studying the violin at age eleven, after having a great interest in classical music from a young age. In 2016 he completed AMEB eighth grade in violin, passing with honors. Later that year he was accepted into Elder Conservatorium's Bachelor of Music (Classical Performance) program in violin, to study with Elizabeth Layton. Jake has been instructing students in theory and violin since 2015. Exercising an eye and ear for detail ensures that his students perform at their best.

Spread the Jam sessions are led by Mathew Soden, an experienced local musician with teaching and mentoring skills with people from all walks of life, including folks of young & old, people with special needs and returned servicemen. Matthew’s belief is that music allows people to build confidence, form friendships and benefit their mental health.
